This piece is actually the reason the Woodlands collection happened. I started this with a sketch many years ago, but never felt that I knew what to do with it once I had outlined it on a large piece of canvas. Until now. So I dusted it off, built a frame, stretched it and... voilà! The boy (and the tree) represents life, the struggles you go through, the decisions you have to make as life happens around you.
